About Andrew Magruder
Andrew Magruder is a musician with over a decade of industry experience specializing in bluegrass, folk, and country styles. In edition to his solo career, he collaborates extensively with various local artists and bands, bringing a unique blend of vocals and strings to each performance.

Andrew studied at James Madison University and received his Bachelors of Music with a concentration in Music Industry and Vocal Performance. There, he was a part of the internationally awarded a cappella group, The JMU Overtones. He also worked at Blue Sprocket Sound over his time in university. Prior to JMU, Andrew was part of FAYM (Fredericksburg Area Young Musician), attended Radford University Summer Governor's School for Visual and Performing Arts, and Youth Arts Theater in Fredericksburg, Virginia.

Currently, Andrew is playing with a number of bands in the Richmond area including Gone Country, Morgan Lynsey Band, and Troy Breslow and the Company Band. Andrew works with a number of local artists as a music producer and mixing engineer, having collaborated and finished a number of songs and albums over the last five years.
